YOUTH SAVINGS (Birth to Age 17)
To open a Youth Savings, you will need:
- $5 minimum deposit for your savings account.
- Birth Certificate and Social Security Card required.
- Responsible party over 18 must also be joint owner.
- Certain restrictions may apply.
Benefits:
- Waiver of $5.00 membership fee
- $1.00 for every A on your report card at year end. (Maximum $10.00)
TEEN CHECKING (Age 15-17)
To open a Teen Checking, you will need:
- $5 minimum deposit for your savings account (everyone must have a savings, it is what makes you a member).
- A valid photo ID; for example: a drivers license, passport, state ID card, student ID and a social security card. Please give us a call if you have any questions about acceptable identification.
- Responsible party over 18 must also be joint owner on account.
Benefits:
- Waiver of $5 membership fee
- $1 for every A on report card at year end. (Maximum of $10)
- At 18 years old, account will automatically convert to Basic Checking Account.
- Access to Online Banking
YOUTH TUTMA (Texas Uniform Transfer to Minor Account - Birth to Age 21)
To open a TUTMA account, you will need:
- $5 minimum deposit for your TUTMA account
- Birth Certificate and Social Security Card required
- Successor custodian must be immediate family
- The custodian retains full control of the account until the minor turns 21 years of age
Benefits:
- Waiver of $5 membership fee
- $1 for every A on Report Card at year end (Maximum of $10)
